Exciting time for QM research
These are busy and exciting time for research at QM. We're beginning the formal review of the research lit which will inform the QM Rubric Committee. This latest review will expand what's been done in 2005 (for the original FIPSE project) and updated in 2008. As in 2008, we will be looking for new information that might impact the studies reported in the two previous lit reviews and we will be looking for emerging or expanded topics related to designing online courses that will improve learning.
Subscriber-Managed Course Reviews
Institutions on a Full Subscription and Statewide Subscribers have the ability to conduct official, subscriber-managed course reviews for QM recognition.
Please post any questions you have about conducting Subscriber-Managed course reviews.
Use the Tools: Questions about QM tools and resources available to the IR
The IR needs to use the QM tools to develop internal resources, exploit existing ones, and otherwise implement the Quality Matters program to achieve institutional goals. The online rubric tool is used primarily to set up and structure course reviews and also for professional development of faculty and staff. The QM research library and peer reviewer database are additional resources for the IR. The online IR Manual will provide a variety of useful documents for the IR.
Please post your questions about the use of any of these tools.

I am trying to find information on the process for conducting a QM review of courses. I have need of creating information for review by a team that I work with around the costs of a QM review if it is done by QM and the process. I have spoken to someone about doing a review with a Master Reviewer but not done by QM and I need some information for comparisons. Where would I go or who would I talk to to get this kind of information? Thanks in advance.
