New Online Facilitated Course for APPQMR
Our institution has recently had trainers complete the OFC who are now ready to offer traiing sessions using the QM classrooms.
How should the new Trainer and IR for their institution coordinate?
I see no OFC information or links from my IR site, but have heard that those trainers are able to request training classrooms for sessions supported by their institution/consortium. Will that training classroom request need to go through an approval process, much the same as when a new Course Review is requested?

The trainers do not have to go through a "formal" request process to request an APPQMR online session. It's probably a good idea for them to work with you and discuss the best time to offer the session to your faculty, staff, and administrators. Once a date had been selected the trainer will request the session in MyQM. They have a link to accomplish this task when they log in.The IR does not have this link because you have not completed the training so you cannot request a session. Quality Matters needs to know that a certified training is requesting the session.
The trainer was provided the information on how to set up a session in the Online Facilitator Certification training that they completed. I suggest you set up a meeting with the trainers and go through the process together.
Quality Matters needs 10 "business" days from the date of the request to set up the training in our system so you need to plan the date you want to start the training. Registration opens as soon as the request for the session is completed. Participants can register themselves or the IR can register a group of participants. The trainers cannot register participants.
