Addressing Accessibility
This workshop reviews the history of ADA legislation and provides a broad overview about the present ADA requirements. Practical tips are provided in terms of the "low hanging fruit" - what you can do to make your courses more ADA-friendly. The content is based on Standard 8 of the Quality Matters Rubric that states: The face-to-face and online course components are accessible to all students.
It is intended for a broad audience, including but not limited to faculty, instructional designers, administrators, and adjunct instructors who wish to understand more about the accommodation techniques.
