Use the Tools: Questions about QM tools and resources available to the IR

Printer-friendly versionSend to friendPDF version

The IR needs to use the QM tools to develop internal resources, exploit existing ones, and otherwise implement the Quality Matters program to achieve institutional goals.   The online rubric tool is used primarily to set up and structure course reviews and also for professional development of faculty and staff.  The QM research library and peer reviewer database are additional resources for the IR.  The online IR Manual will provide a variety of useful documents for the IR.

Please post your questions about the use of any of these tools.

In the same vein - questions that will make me feel dumb when I hear the answer - how do I get to the QM research library? I'm assuming that the research library is what has the research basis for each standard? I used to know how to get to that, but now I don't.

Thanks,

David

Never mind - and I do feel dumb. I forgot that the items that cause sub-menus to open are also clickable menu items. You can find this on the Rubric page (http://www.qmprogram.org/rubric).

Thanks,

David

This is probably one of those questions where I am going to go, "duh" when I get an answer, but where might I find access to the online IR Manual?

Thanks,

Alli

HI  Alli,

For now, it is an attachment at the bottom of the IR Website page.  We are in the process of moving to a new document management system that will make it easier for us to link to it directly, in an obvious way, from a list of publications on the IR site.  But for now, it is a simple attachment.
